About Mise
A modern operations platform for independent restaurants — built by someone who knows what it's like to outgrow spreadsheets.
The problem
Independent restaurants run on duct tape: a clipboard at the host stand, a printed schedule taped to the back-office wall, a WhatsApp group for supplier orders, and an Excel sheet the manager emails herself at the end of the month. Each tool works in isolation, but nothing talks to each other, and the operator spends the night re-typing numbers.
The enterprise software that promises to fix this is sold to chains, billed per seat, and demands a year-long implementation. That's the wrong shape for a 30-seat bistro.
What we're building
Mise is one app that replaces all of those tools. Floor map, reservations, menu, employee scheduling, prep lists, supplier orders, and finance — one login, role-based, multi-language, works on the iPad at the host stand and the phone in the chef's pocket.
The team
I'm Elihav Chemouni — solo founder, developer, and product person on Mise. Based in Tel Aviv. Previously built backend systems for small teams and got tired of watching restaurants suffer through clunky software.
For now, this is a one-person shop. As Mise grows we'll bring in restaurant operators as advisors and (when revenue supports it) a co-founder or first hires.
How we'll grow
- Now — independent restaurants in Israel. Free plan for teams up to 5, and a 14-day free trial of the paid plans.
- Paid tiers (later) — once we know what's worth paying for, we'll price fairly per restaurant (not per seat).
- Multi-location — when the first chain asks for it.
- Outside Israel — when there's demand. Hebrew and RTL come baked in, so we're ready.
Want to talk?
If you run a restaurant and any of this resonates — or if you just want to share an opinion — we'd genuinely like to hear from you.
